WildPark

WildPark is a collaboration with artist Yiwon Park. Yiwon's art practice focuses on the shoes as a place of intimacy and she was interested in the traces of body heat left behind when people wear each other's shoes.

The installation is a small room where people face each other with their feet in some shoes provided. Embedded in these shoes are a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor to track presence and body heat.

The room is lined with LED strips that light each side of the space, showing the body temperature as colour temperature.
