Dish Pig was a series of experimental work done within a residency in a restaurant on the Central Coast of NSW.
The experiments were done as a meditation on process and creativity. Could repetition within a non-art based context be a conduit for a creative outcome?
The exhibition outcome was a series of three works; a composite photograph of the sink plug before cleaning; a series of prints made by applying ink to the outside of disposed drink bottles and allowing condensation to drip onto paper; and a video work that showed the process of cleaning as a meditative ritual.
